Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, in Winona Garden of Memory Cemetery for Bruce Steven Mitchell, 62, of Winona, who died on Tuesday, Jan 2, at his residence. Bruce was laid to rest next to his mother and father. The Rev. Jay Anderson officiated. Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 8, at Oliver Funeral Home in Winona.
Bruce was born on Nov. 10, 1961, the son of the late James Newton Mitchell Jr. and the late Sammie Lane Mitchell McClure. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Winona.
In addition to his parents, his sister, Patti Mitchell Finley, preceded Bruce in death.
Survivors include, one niece; one nephew, and a host of cousins and aunts.
