Enchanted Event: Trolls, dragons swamp Lee Tart Oct. 29; MAC awards grant

County Sups OK new landfill prices

The Grenada County Board of Supervisors met earlier this month and all were present as they made quick work of county business.

The Board opened up the meeting with Jan Smith presenting the budget report. A total of 335 claims were then approved to be paid from the Claims Docket.

Prescribed fire workshop scheduled Friday, Oct. 21 at Camp McCain in Elliott

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks (MDWFP), Foundation for Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, Mississippi Army National Guard and the Mississippi Forestry Commission are hosting a workshop at Camp McCain Training Center on Oct. 21 to educate landowners about prescribed fire.
