State gas prices drop 9.1 cents in last week; average $2.99 statewide

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi have fallen 9.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.99/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 23.5 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 2.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

MSU moves Tuesday afternoon classes to remote instruction, cancels campus activities
