Arrests: Dec. 19-22

The docket at the Grenada County Jail shows the following arrests from Monday, Dec. 19 through Thursday, Dec. 22. An arrest does not mean the accused is guilty. U.S. citizens are presumed innocent until proved guilty in court.

The Grenada Star publishes all arrests listed on the docket without exception.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mrs. Joyce Wilson Windham, 89, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, Dec. 20, in Grenada. Burial followed in the Windham family plot in Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County. The Rev. Bud Vance officiated.

Burial followed in Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada. Bro. Barry Worrell officiated. Visitation was held from 11:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday, Dec.

AMERICORPS GIVES BACK

The Grenada School District AmeriCorps food collection projects help those in our community who need food, especially for the holidays. In October for “Make A Difference Day,” they provided canned goods to seniors at the HUD apartments on Jasper Neely Drive.
