Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023, at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel for Herbert Leon Fisk, 74, of Grenada, who died on Sunday, Jan 15, at his residence. Burial followed in Grenada Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held one hour prior to services on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Mortimer National Funeral Home.

Average gas prices fall 1.6 cents statewide last week

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi have fallen 1.6 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.85/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 12.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 6.1 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
