Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, 2025, at Vaiden Baptist Church for Mrs. Joyce Anne Pinkston Layman, 89, of Vaiden, who died on Thursday, July 31, at her residence surrounded by her family. Burial followed in Hopewell Cemetery in Vaiden. The Rev. John Staszefski and the Rev. Philip McRae officiated.
