Grenada Chargers return home, hosts 0-3 Clinton

Like life, football is a learning experience.

Coming off a season-opening win over Pine Bluff (Ark.), the Grenada Chargers stumped their toe in a 32-26 road loss on the road against Winona. They took those learning experiences into last week’s road game in Oxford and came away with a 31-28 victory over the Class 7A Chargers.

Undefeated Kirk Raiders host 2-2 Marshall tonight

Undefeated Kirk travels to Clarksdale, plays Lee

Colin Boone is quick to give his players all the credit for the Kirk Academy Raiders undefeated start to the 2023 football season.

With the exception of making the Class AAAA state championship game in 2021, the Kirk program has struggled with 13 losing seasons in 14 years. Now, KA is off to its first 3-0 start since 2000.
