Food Pantry volunteers needed for Saturday’s Distribution Day

The Grenada Food Pantry’s monthly Distribution Day is this Saturday, June 26, and directors are welcoming all volunteers.

Kim McRee, one of the directors at the food pantry, said volunteers are needed for this Thursday’s bagging day and Saturday’s day for distribution.

City of Grenada mask ordinance extended

The Grenada City Council voted 4-3 earlier this week to extend the citywide mask ordinance until after the Fourth of July holiday, however, the extension was not well received by some citizens in the audience.
