Unofficial Statewide Primary Election Summary Results provided by the Grenada County Circuit Clerk's Office report that 5,027 ballots were cast out of 27,414 registered voters for a turnout of 18.34 percent Tuesday.
Of the ballots cast, 2,093 were Democrat and 2,934 were Republican.
