Crews with the Grenada Water Department were in Gore Springs most of the day Thursday working to restore water service to customers.
Service was restored for a short time, but according to officials Thursday evening, residents may experience another disruption in service "while further repairs are made tonight."
In the meantime, a Boil Water Alert has been issued for the Gore Springs area north of the blinking light, crossing Grenada Lake and back west.
It is not known when the Boil Water Alert will be lifted.
The Grenada Star will report any updates when they are made available.
