SPECIAL COMMISSIONER’S
NOTICE OF SALE
WHEREAS, on October 22, 2019, Bennie Askew, Unmarried Man executed a certain Deed of Trust to Denise McLaurin, Trustee for the benefit of Regions Bank d/b/a Regions Mortgage which Deed of Trust is of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Grenada County, State of Mississippi in Book 2019 at Page 9783; and confirmed by Chancery Cause No. 22CH1:24cv00073; and
WHEREAS, LOGS Legal Group, LLP was appointed Special Commissioner by order of the Chancery Court dated January 22, 2025, in Chancery Cause No. 22CH1:24cv00073 and was instructed to judicially foreclose on the subject property; and
WHEREAS, default having been made in the terms and conditions of said deed of trust and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust, and the Chancery Court, having requested the undersigned Special Commissioner to execute the trust and sell said land and property in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust and for the purpose of raising the sums due thereunder, together with attorney’s fees, trustee’s fees and expense of sale.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, LOGS Legal Group, LLP, Special Commissioner, will on April 11, 2025 offer for sale at public outcry and sell within legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.), at the East Door of the County Courthouse of Grenada County, located at 59 Green Street, Grenada, Mississippi, to the highest and best bidder for cash or certified funds the following described property situated in Grenada County, State of Mississippi, to-wit:
Lot No. 234 in the West Ward of the City of Grenada, Grenada County, Mississippi.
Intending to describe Grenada County Parcel No. 103N 07 139.00, commonly referred to as 442 Margin Street, Grenada, Mississippi, 38901 whether correctly described or not.
I WILL CONVEY only such title as vested in me as Special Commissioner.
