SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE SALE
WHEREAS, on September 26, 2017, Glenda F. King executed a certain Deed of Trust to Thelma A. Glasco, Area Director, Trustee for the use and benefit of United States of America acting through the Rural Housing Service or successor agency, United States Department of Agriculture which Deed of Trust is of record in the office of the Chancery Clerk of Grenada County, Mississippi, on September 26, 2017, in Deed of Trust Book 2017, Page 9815.
WHEREAS, United States of America, acting through the Rural Housing Service, United States Department of Agriculture, the current holder and/or assignee, substituted Halliday, Watkins & Mann, P.C. as Tr
ustee by instrument recorded in the Chancery Clerk’s Office on November 17, 2025 in Substitute Trustee Book 2025, in Page 109-110; and
WHEREAS, Default having been made in the terms and conditions of said deed of trust and the entire debt secured thereby having been declared to be due and payable in accordance with the terms of said deed of trust, United States of America, acting through the Rural Housing Service, United States Department of Agriculture, the legal holder of said indebtedness, having requested the undersigned Substitute Trustee in said deed of trust, will on January 7, 2026 offer for sale at public outcry and sell within legal hours (being between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.), at the main front door of the County Courthouse of Grenada County in Grenada, Mississippi, to the highest and best bidder for cash the following described property situated in Grenada County, Mississippi, to wit:
Part of Lot 28 of Rolling Oaks Subdivision, as said lot appears of record on a plat of said subdivision recorded in Plat Book 3 at Page 35 of the records of Grenada County, Mississippi, on file in the office of the Chancery Clerk, and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a the northeast corner of said Lot 28 of the Rolling Oaks Subdivision, said point being a found 1/2” iron bar on the southerly right of way of Rolling Oaks Drive; proceeds thence S 00°35’35” E away from said road 279.37 feet to a found 5/8” iron bar; thence N 86°59’50” W 250.21 feet to a found 5/8” iron bar; thence N 01°09’56” W 115.77 feet to a set 1/2” iron bar; thence N 18°31’25” E 62.56 feet to a set 1/2” iron bar; thence N 16°33’39” W 79.01 feet to a set 1/2” iron bar; thence N 01°15’16” W 66.28 feet to a found 5/8” iron bar on the south right of way of said Rolling Oaks Drive; thence along said right of way S 83°44’47” E 186.53 feet to a point on a curve; thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 100.00 feet for an arc distance of 76.38 feet and on a chord direction of S 65°50’36” E and a chord length of 74.53 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 1.74 acres, more or less
