Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Steven Powell Lott, 73, of Grenada, who died on Saturday, Jan. 24, in Oxford. The Rev. J. Barry Worrell officiated. Burial followed in Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Friday, Feb. 6, at McKibben and Guinn.
Steve was born on Aug. 2, 1952, in Grenada, the son of the late Powell B. Lott and the late Hildred Corder Lott. He was a retired supervisor at Binswanger in Grenada where he devoted many years of his working life. He was a man that enjoyed being outdoors and working with his hands. Steve was very skilled in woodworking and carpentry. He also enjoyed working in the yard and growing a vegetable garden each summer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, his daughter, Donna Livingston Smith, preceded Steve in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Betty Gatlin Lott; son, Ronnie Livingston (Beverly) of Cleveland; sister, Irene Floyd (Randy) of Gore Springs; four grandchildren: Jason Hodges, Rob Livingston, Garrett Turner and Cole Turner, and 11 great grandchildren.
Jason Hodges, Jayden Hodges, Cole Turner, Garrett Turner and Skyler Turner will honor Steve by serving as pallbearers.
