Grenada High School basketball teams continue winning ways

It’s been a solid start to the 2022-23 basketball season for both the Grenada High School basketball Chargers and Lady Chargers heading into last week’s action. Both teams took identical 7-2 records into games.

Raiders come up short; Raiderettes reach 10 wins

The last time Kirk Academy played Delta, they lost a 30-point contest in Marks. This time around, the Raiders came close to getting a win last Friday.

Kirk led Delta 14-11 at halftime only to see the Raiders from Quitman County rally for a 31-27 win.

Conley signs scholarship with Holmes CC

Grenada High School senior Amari Conley has been a significant contributor to both the football and baseball programs at GHS. As his high school career comes to an end this spring with the 2023 baseball season, Conley recently signed a scholarship to play baseball for the Holmes Community College Bulldogs.

Grenada High School head football coach Kuhn announces retirement

Ashley Kuhn, the second longest tenured football coach in Grenada High School football history, has announced his retirement after 12 seasons running the program.

Kuhn made the announcement to his players during a meeting Wednesday afternoon at the Grenada High School Athletic Fieldhouse.
