Qualifying began last Wednesday and runs through Sept. 26, for the upcoming election for the District 5 Grenada School District Board of Trustees to be on the November ballot, according to Circuit Clerk Michele Redditt-Garcia.
Candidates need to pick up a packet at the Circuit Clerk’s office and return it with 50 signatures. Haley Biddy is the current board member for the position and serves as the Board President.
Some of the areas that include District 5 include, Avenue of Pines, Wooded Drive, Chickasaw Drive and White Circle.
Voters are reminded to vote where they cast their ballot for the District 5 Supervisor race.
