Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at Friendship Baptist Church for Mr. Ronnie Lee Smith Jr., 41, of Grenada, who died on Friday, Sept. 18, at his residence. Dr. Kevin Jackson officiated.
Lee was born Dec. 21, 1978, in Grenada to Ronnie Lee and Linda Lane Smith. He had spent most of his working life in sales and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Among his many hobbies were taxidermy and working on his antique truck.
Survivors include, his wife, Carrie Taylor Smith; daughters, Hallie Smith and Callie Smith of Grenada; parents, Ronnie Lee and Linda Lane Smith of Grenada; sister, Jennie Taylor (Craig) of Nesbit; niece, Hannah Lane Taylor; nephew, Josh Taylor; in-laws, Jerry and Brenda Taylor of Grenada and a brother-in-law, Tracy Taylor of Mobile, Ala.
Pallbearers were his cousins, Bill Defenbaugh, Rodney Defenbaugh, John Dogan, Allen Harrell, Kent Lane, Glenn Mitchell, Danny Pettit, Jason Pettit and Timmy Pettit.
