Graveside services were held on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, in New Greensboro Cemetery in Webster County for Mr. Robert Joel “Bobby” Hickman, 70, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Oxford.
Bobby was born on Jan. 15, 1952. He had worked as an inspector at Willis Engineering in Grenada for 10 years and had previously worked at Waco Construction. He enjoyed fishing with his friends and also attending auctions at any opportunity.
His mother and stepfather, Evelyn Grammer Dodson and Claude Andrew Dodson; father, Robert Leroy Hickman, and one sister, Helen Marie Hickman, preceded Bobby in death.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Miller (James) of Pontotoc; son, Robert Joel “Joey” Hickman II (Carrie) of Virginia; one sister, Marjory Boatman of Tomnolen and six grandchildren, Samantha Pyron, Taryn Pyron, Jackson Miller, Hannah Hickman, Embrianna Hickman and Rileigh-Jo Hickman.
