Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021, in Bethel Cemetery at Oxberry for Robert Fields, 81, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, June 22, in Grenada. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Friday, June 25, in Bethel Cemetery.
Robert was born on Aug. 29, 1939, the son of the late Clyde Lee Fields and Jessie Lankford Fields. He was the shop foreman at Cliff Colbert Chevrolet until his retirement. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church at Oxberry. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason and served in the United States Army.
His parents; his wife, Georgia Fields, and one brother, James Fields, preceded Robert in death.
Survivors include, his daughter, Theresa Fields McDaniel and her husband, Gary, of Holcomb; son, Kenneth Fields and his wife, Jan, of Holcomb; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
