Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2025, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Mr. Robb Travis Hovas, 56, of Kilmichael, who died on Wednesday, April 30, at his residence. Burial followed in Pine Bluff Cemetery near Kilmichael. The Rev. Luke Pogue and the Rev. Randy Bridges officiated. Visitation was held from noon until service time on Saturday, May 3, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Hovas was born on Sept. 12, 1968, to Benny and Linda Harrison Hovas. He was a member of Kilmichael Methodist Church.
Survivors include, his wife, Cindy Bond Hovas of Kilmichael; sons, Benjamin Ryan Hovas (Hilliary) of Kilmichael and Justin O’Neal Hovas of Kilmichael; parents, Benny and Linda Hovas of Kilmichael; sister, Dana Hovas Woods (Brent) of Grenada; brother, Hank Hovas of Kilmichael; five grandchildren, Ava Carter Hovas, Ryleigh Brooke Gove, Harrison Wyatt Hovas, Allie Johnson and Hayden Johnson and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Pine Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 13133 Hwy. 35, Carrollton, MS 38917 or God’s House of Hope, 800 School Rd., Kilmichael, MS 39747.
