“The Lord has watched over your steps through this vast wilderness” (Deuteronomy 2:7).
He is personally engaged in our lives. We need to believe Deuteronomy 2:7. We need to trust that the Lord has watched over our steps through our lives, thus far. This is a true gift from God. To know that he has immersed himself in my life is a true grace from him.
The Bible affirms that even chaos is under his control, that is, God can even take evil and make it something that works for good. His good intentions follow us every day of our lives. We see this ultimately in the atoning death of his son, Jesus Christ.
His love and his care extend to us. We can see God’s love and care in our everyday lives. From the beauty of the creation to the people in our lives, God is constantly giving us expressions of love and care, because that is his nature. It is how he watches over us.
He watches over and preserves His people. Even though it seemed like he wasn’t there, he never stopped watching over our lives. Do you believe you’re being preserved by the Lord? Do you accept that he is protecting you from the schemes of proud, violet, and evil people? Such men may be bent on destroying you. They may devise plans against you, but you don’t have to fear any evil. The Lord is watching your steps.
