Notice
A request has been made to the Planning and Zoning Commission to rezone the following parcels from R-5 Manufactured Home Subdivision to R-6 Manufactured Home Park District property being located at 25 Gibbs Hollow Road, Grenada, Mississippi or as follows:
DESCRIPTION:
12-acre parcel of land in the Northeast corner of that certain tract of land in the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) Section 10, Township 22 North, range 5 East, Grenada, Mississippi, more particularly described as follows:
A 12-acre parcel of land in the Northeast corner of that certain tract of land in the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼) of Section 10, Township 22, Range 5 East conveyed to J.J. O’Brien by M.V. O’Brien and Mrs. Martha O’Brien by deed dated December 8, 1948 of record in Book 85, Page 270, of the Land Deed Records of Grenada County, Mississippi, and being further described as commencing at a point in the South line of State Highway No. 8 at the Northwest corner of the C. L. Rogen land and running thence West along the South line of said highway to the Northeast corner of the land conveyed to J. C. Thomas by J. J. O’Brien and wife, by deed dated May 28, 1946, of record in Book 88 at Page 9 and extending South a sufficient depth to enclose and embrace 12 acres, intending to convey that land conveyed to J.L. Jones by J. J. O’Brien and Ruby O’Brien by deed dated May 24, 1948 and recorded in Land Deed Book 90 at Page 261 of the records of deeds of said County and State.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Grenada will meet at 6:00 P.M. in the City Hall in said City on Monday, September 8, 2025 to hear any protest or objections to the rezoning of said property as above described. All Parties authorized by law to object thereto are hereby invited to attend said meeting and present such objections, if any, as they may have.
