Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church for Mrs. Patricia Harmon Taylor, 75, of Grenada, who died on Thursday, Sept. 18. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Dr. Joey Faulk officiated.
Pat was born on Oct. 19, 1949, at Fort Gordon, Ga., the daughter of the late Charles and the late Josephine Harmon.
In addition to her parents, one sister, Sandra Moreno, and brother, Charles Harmon Jr., preceded Pat in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Wayne Taylor; one sister, Vicki Londell (Earl); her daughter, Joanne Whitfield (David); sons, Kevin Baker (April) and Roy Baker (Marion); seven grandsons, Kaleb Baker (Katelyn), Dylan Baker, Hayes Baker (Caitlin), Heath Baker (Grace Ann), Byron Ayers (Amanda), Nicholas Whitfield (Katie) and Steven Whitfield (Kara); nine great grandchildren, Colvin Baker, Anna Lauren Ayers, Ava Wilson, Amelia Wilson, Kasen James Baker, Hallee Grace Baker, Morgan Whitfield, Emma Whitfield and Spencer Whitfield, and special friends, Martha Harbin, Wanda James, Betty Brown and the rest of her Providence Baptist Church family.
Pat’s grandsons served as pallbearers.
Pat was a devoted Christian wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Providence Baptist Church, 85 Misterton Rd., Grenada, MS 38901.
