Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at Enid Church of Christ for Irvin C. Beardain Jr., 88, of Enid, who died on Friday, June 11, in Charleston. Burial followed in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Pope. Bro. Mike Briscoe officiated. Visitation was held from 2 p.m. until service time on Sunday, June 13, at Enid Church of Christ.
Mr. Beardain was born on Sept. 2, 1932, in Enid, the son of the late I.C. Beardain Sr. and Daisy Estridge. He was a member of Enid Church of Christ in Enid.
His parents and two brothers, Johnny Beardain and Keith Beardain Sr., preceded Mr. Beardain in death.
Survivors include, his son, Derek Beardain (Minnie) of Enid; one granddaughter and a host of special family and friends.
