DJ was born on Nov. 28, 2017, in Grenada and made this world a brighter place from the very beginning. He was “all boy” and enjoyed being outdoors playing in the mud, football and swimming. He also loved watching his favorite TV shows, which included “PJ Masks,” “Lightning McQueen” and “Scooby Doo.” When he wasn’t playing or watching TV, he was looking for a glass of milk – his favorite. While there are many here who grieve, we find comfort in knowing that DJ was welcomed into Heaven by our Lord Jesus and a host of family members that have gone before him.
His great grandparents, Deborah Hardin, Shirley Deloris Jones Powell and James and Margaret Latham; great-great grandparents, Frances Hill, Florence Ratliff and Lou Latham, and grandfather, Brent Hood, preceded DJ in death.
In addition to his parents, grandparents and great grandparents, survivors include, his brother, Kade Thomas Hardin; aunts, Lainey Arrington, Lilly Arrington, Kaylin Hardin, Shyann Lloyd, Briana Young and Shaquish Gipson; uncles, Mason Hardin, Keith Thomas Lloyd, D’Ivion Young and Javaughn Powell and a host of great aunts and great uncles.
Pallbearers were Declan Kunefke, Keith Thomas Lloyd, Antonio Wilks, Tyler Wilson and D’Ivion Young.
