A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Master Tyler James Hardin, 18-month-old son of Ty and Brittany Power Hardin, who died on Thursday, July 20, at his residence. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service on Wednesday, July 26, at McKibben and Guinn.
Tyler and his twin sister, Kendall Marie, were born on Nov. 16, 2021, in Jackson to their proud parents. Tyler was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and possessed tremendous strength and courage to face all of the obstacles he encountered in his short time here with us. A true daddy’s boy with a monstrous appetite, Tyler could never get enough baked chicken, macaroni & cheese and corn to fill him up. He loved watching “The Flash” on television and also enjoyed snuggling with his Mama when she watched “Gilmore Girls.” Tyler loved anything to do with dinosaurs and was affectionately called “Little T-Rex” by those who loved him.
An angel sibling; great grandparents, Dianne Kirk, Eddie Fulgham, Wesley Hardin, Terry Brooks, Mattie Power, Frank Power and Jr. Wylie, and uncles, Mike Fulgham and Billy Wylie, preceded Tyler in death.
In addition to his parents, Master Hardin is survived by his twin sister, Kendall Marie Hardin; half-brothers, Jaxon Lee Latham and Hunter Michael Latham; grandparents, Michael Power, Vickie and Barry Dodd and Elattra Lovette Hardin; great grandparents, James and Johnnie Abbott, Janice Abbott and Eva Mae Poe; aunt, Shonda Hardin; uncle, Anthony Rideout; godparents, David and Felicia Dixon, Shaylee Stauffer, Destinie Russell and C.J. Blankenship, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
