Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, in the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada for Terry Lee Woods, 61, of Grenada, who died on Wednesday, Aug. 9, at his residence. Burial followed in Grenada Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Terry was born on May 24, 1962, in Quitman County, the son of the late Raymond and the late Fern Woods. He worked in construction for the majority of his working years. He was a member of the Calvary Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, two sisters, Laura Faulkner and Sedatha Durham, and one brother, Ed-ward Woods, preceded Terry in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Betty Melton Woods; his son, Will (Brittany) Bratton of Grenada; five sisters, Paulette Bennett of Grenada, Debbie Yates of Grenada, Lisa (Charlie) Darby of Enid, Eli-ose (Terry) Turner of Enid and Kathy Brinson of Kansas; one brother, Billy Woods of Grenada, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were John Jones, Mark Darby, Larry White, Barry White, Brian Turner and Zack Turner.
