He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
His father, Roger Gatlin, of Montgomery, Ala, preceded Grant in death.
Survivors include, his mother, Nora Eunice Gatlin of Montgomery, Ala.; his sister, Kathy Gatlin of Chatsworth, Ga.; his wife of 31 years, Sandra Lane Gatlin; stepchildren, Regina (Johnny) and Jim (Amanda); daughter, Bonnie Gatlin; son, James Gatlin, and grandchildren, Reagan, Madison, Abbey and Ethan.
Grant’s kindness and dedication will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace and may his spirit live on in the memories of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
