Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada for Mr. Stanley Bryan Rayburn, 63, of Grenada, who died on Sunday, March 6, in Jackson. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery near Duck Hill. The Rev. Tommy Kelly will officiate. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service on Sunday, March 13, at McKibben and Guinn.
Bryan was born on Sept. 17, 1958, in Greenwood, the son of Stanley Daniel and Azileen Windham Rayburn. He grew up in Greenwood and aside from a 10-year stent in Colorado, has lived in Mississippi all of his life.
A self-described professional steering wheel holder, Bryan traveled the country and enjoyed working as an 18-wheeler driver. He also owned and operated a lawn service business through the years. He was a muscle car and hot rod enthusiast as well as an avid outdoorsman. He loved flying and was proud to have earned his pilot’s license. He also loved good Bar-B-Que and Boudin. He will be lovingly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His parents preceded Bryan in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Hini Rayburn; sister, Karen Rayburn Welborn of Greenwood and their fur babies, Deuce and Chance.
Pallbearers will be Kenny King, Benny Proctor, Chet Bond, Jamey Mims, Shane Cox and Ronnie Bush
