Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, in New Cleveland Cemetery in Cleveland for Ruth Perry Mitchell, 94, of Carrollton, who died on Monday, Dec. 2, in Winona.
Ruth was born on Feb. 20, 1930, in Carroll County, the daughter of the late John Edward Perry and the late Maudie Mae Rico Perry. She was employed by Bolivar County Hospital for many years as an accounting clerk. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Winona.
In addition to her parents, her husband, James Lester Mitchell, and her brothers, John William Perry, R.B. Perry and Donald Brister Perry, preceded Ruth in death.
Survivors include, her daughter, Gail McKnight of Carrollton; her son, Louie Rico Jr. of Vaiden; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
