A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Smith Cemetery in Rosebloom for Mrs. Betty Jean Ingram, 95, of Eupora, formerly of Grenada, who died on Saturday, Nov. 30, in Columbus.
Betty was born on March 6, 1929, in Webster County, the daughter of the late John Jeff and the late Vera Chandler Smith. She grew up during the Great Depression and knew the value of hard work. She spent many years working at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grenada and the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Suggs Ingram; one grandson, Timothy Hall, and eight siblings, preceded Betty in death.
Survivors include, her daughter, Patricia Jean Ingram Hall of Eupora; sister, Rachel Lott of Holcomb; one grandson, Raymond Hall of Loveland, Colo., and one great granddaughter, Lily Mae Hall.
