A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 26, 2022, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Mr. Roy Veston “Randy” Stewart, 68, of Vaiden, who died on Thursday, Aug. 18, in Birmingham, Ala. The Rev. Bill Mills officiated. The family received guests one hour prior to the service on Friday, Aug. 26, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Stewart was born Oct. 10, 1953, in Vaiden, the son of the late Everett Stewart and Dorothy Nichols Downs.
In addition to his parents, one son, Derrick Everett “Bobo” Stewart, and one sister, Margie Sue Williams, preceded Mr. Stewart in death.
Survivors include, two sons, Dale Stewart (Meghan) of McCarley and Deric Stewart of Kosciusko; one sister, Dorothy Faye Tapley of Nettleton; two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
