Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at the Mortimer National Funeral Home Chapel in Grenada for Linda Melton Cunningham, 73, of Grenada, who died on Monday, April 24, in Grenada. Burial followed in Ashland Cemetery near Cascilla. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service time on Tuesday, April 25, at Mortimer National Funeral Home.
Linda was born on Dec. 25, 1949, the daughter of the late Chester Hill and the late Mary Ruth Carroll Hill.
In addition to her parents, her husbands, George Melton and Martin Lyn Cunningham, and one brother, Eugene Hill, preceded Linda in death.
Survivors include, her daughters, Barbara Smith of Grenada and Nancy Sisney of Kosciusko; her sisters, Debra Melton of Grenada and Rhonda Langham of Arkansas; one brother, Larry Hill of Grenada; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
