Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024, in Scotland Cemetery in Winona for Joshua Daniel Lowery, 38, of Ocean Springs, formerly of Winona, who died on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at his residence. The Rev. Fletcher Morman and Ms. Ashley White officiated.
Mr. Lowery was born on March 10, 1986.
His mother, Susan Johnston Perkins; stepfather, Jimmy Perkins, and grandparents, James and Carolyn Lowery, Walter Johnston and Joy Grice Little, preceded Mr. Lowery in death.
Survivors include, his father, Danny Lowery (Bonnie) of Winona; brother, Steven Lowery (Sheila) of Winona; step siblings, Taylor Nichols (Ashley), Dylan Nichols, Betsy Perkins Watson (Robb) and Katie Perkins Harper (Ken); several nieces and nephews, one great niece; two uncles; two aunts and several special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Scotland Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 782 CR 14, Winona, MS 38967.
