There are no funeral services planned at this time for Ms. Helen Jane Lane, 73, of Grenada, who died on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in Greenwood.
Helen was born on May 6, 1950. She worked for more than 15 years at Pennaco Hosiery in Grenada and after it closed, she worked at ADP until her retirement. She was fiercely devoted to her family and will long be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother with the kindest spirit. Helen also possessed a strong work ethic and worked hard her entire life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her mother, Hilda Kenneth, and one sister, Margaret Sadler, preceded Helen in death.
Survivors include, her daughters, Brandy Smith (Mickey) of Cascilla and Hollie Lane of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Doris Shaw (H.V.) of Senatobia; five grandchildren, Taylor Preston (Klayton), Ashton Smith (Madi), Jordan Smith (Haley), Kenydi Lane and Rylee Murphree, and two great grandchildren, Nolan Robinson and Levi Preston.
