Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Winona for Mrs. Ethel Beatrice “Bea” Nichols, 97, of Harleston, formerly of Winona, who died on Saturday, Nov. 16, at her residence. Burial followed in Winona Garden of Memory. The Rev. Tracy Putnam officiated. Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday, Nov. 23, at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nichols was born on March 1, 1927, the daughter of the late James Henry and the late Gertie Lee Donahoo Knight.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Ralph Nichols; her daughter, Judy Carroll Nichols Blaylock; one grandson and one brother, Kenneth Molton “Moat” Knight, preceded Mrs. Nichols in death.
Survivors include one grandson, one great grandson, one great-great granddaughter; one granddaughter; two brothers, Jimmy Knight (Martha) of Troy, Ala., and Thomas “Bud” Knight (Betty) of Winona and a host of nieces and nephews.
