Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, at Elliott Baptist Church for Mrs. Elizabeth Morgan Nail Vickers, 40, of McCarley, who died on Monday, Sept. 19, in Winona. Burial followed in the Nail family plot in Elliott Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Payton and the Rev. Daniel Herring officiated.
Morgan was born on Feb. 7, 1982, in Grenada. She worked as director of workflow for Mammologix, Inc., and was a member of Elliott Baptist Church. She was blessed with a special ability to relate with children and used this ability to serve in the children’s departments of various churches where she and her family lived.
While Morgan is no longer in our presence, we find comfort in knowing she is in the presence of our Savior and joins many loved ones who have gone before her.
Her grandparents, Doyle and Mary Nail and L.B. and Willie Green, and one brother, Jonathan Hettich, preceded Morgan in death.
Survivors include, her husband, Ryan Vickers; sons, Garrett Vickers and Gavin Vickers; mother, Janis Hettich (Carl); father, James Doyle Nail (Charlotte); sisters, Tonya Nail Wiggins (David), Hannah Nail and Tammy Nail Griffin (Bo); three brothers, Jason Jones (Pauline), Will Jones and Terry Hettich (Kelly Ann); nephews, Cody Carson, Zach Wiggins and Hayden Wiggins; nieces, Katherine Vickers and Taylor Vickers; Aunt MoMo’s greatest blessings, Harper Carson, Adley Loyd Carson and James Kenneth Reed and in-laws, Danny and Joyce Vickers.
Pallbearers were Jason Jones, Louie Nail, Tyler Nail, Hayden Wiggins, Zach Wiggins and Eric Williams.
