Billy Wayne “Charlie Brown” Franklin, 52, of Coffeeville died on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
Billy was born on Dec. 20, 1969, and raised in Charleston. Billy was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and God our Father. Everyone that truly knew Billy, knew that he had a long hard road and daily fight with the devil. He loved his family above all.
His father, Max E. Franklin, and one daughter, Kiara Gail Studsy, preceded Billy in death.
Survivors include, his wife, Sandy Franklin; son, Samuel Max Franklin of Scottsbluff, Neb.; one daughter, Josey Lynn Franklin of Blue Springs, Mo.; sisters, Patricia Riddle of Marion, Ind., and Misty Lee Hernandez of Buckner, Mo.; his mother, Dolly Spencer of Mound City, Kan.; grandmother, Rivers Virginia “Mamaw” Franklin of Cascilla; six grandchildren and countless other family members that loved Billy dearly. A very special thank you to his Uncle Terry Franklin, who spent much of his time in Billy’s last days to take care of him and the whole family spent a lot of time in prayer to keep him safe.
Skeeter Robinson Funeral Home in Grenada was in charge of arrangements.
