A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at Abundant Life Assembly in Grenada for Alice Faye Cothran, 80, of Gore Springs, who died on Saturday, Oct. 19, at her residence.
Alice Cothran was born on Nov. 27, 1943, in Greenwood, the daughter of the late Mark and the late Nellie Green.
Alice enjoyed gardening and going to flea markets and yard sales collecting all kinds of things that she called her pretties. She was married to the late William “Billy” Thomas Cothran for 63 years. They were blessed with two children, Carolyn, who is deceased, and her surviving son, John, and his wife, Bobbie.
Survivors include, nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her brother, Doyle Green, of Alabama.
Family and friends are welcome to join in the celebration of Alice Faye Cothran — forever in our hearts.
