Sarah Jacquelyn Nemeth and Lucas Bill Vaughn were united in marriage June 6, at 6:00 p.m. at Dodson Farm in Starkville. The ceremony was officiated by the Minister Neil Tullos.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Alan Nemeth of Starkville. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry DeWayne Vaughn of Kilmichael, and the late Tammy Hovas Vaughn.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white satin gown with beading and pearls over a ballgown skirt with a chapel train. The veil worn by the bride was adorned with pearls to form an organic motif through the tulle. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of peonies, patience garden roses, moonstone roses, hyacinths, freesia, and sweet peas. The stems were exposed, and bound with a silk ribbon to a single white rose in honor of the bridegroom’s mother.

Matron of Honor was the bride’s sister, Mary Lowry Nemeth Vollema. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Dooley Cox, Savanna Reed Holmes, Callen DeYoung Jackson, Krista Woods Karel, Kayla Vaughn Mosal, Lexi Vaughn Sultan, and Bailey Elyssa Thornton. The bridegroom’s nieces, Mila Scott Karel, Clara Jane Mosal, Eva Garner Mosal, and Adella Fay Vaughn were the flower girls.

They wore a ivory off the shoulder gown with a fit to flare skirt. They carried gathered bouquets of white roses, spray roses, peonies, pearl roses, hyacinths, and freesia. The flower girls wore heirloom dresses made of ivory cotton and lace with silk ribbon. They carried antique ivory silk baskets filled with white rose petals.

The bridegroom’s father Perry DeWayne Vaughn was the best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Scott Ballard, Seth Hunter Mosal, Michael Thomas Nemeth, William Martin Rackley, Mason Kent Snider, Matthew Stokes Templeton, Clinton Perry Vaughn, and Colton Perry Vaughn. Proxy bride was Adria Carlyn Woods. Haley Wilson Boutwell, Mallory Barnes Shinn, Michael Hunter Shinn, Bobby Joe Wilson, and Ginger Ratliff Wilson greeted the guests as they arrived.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at Dodson Farm. Too Proud To Beg provides the music.

On the eve of the wedding, the bridegroom’s family hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner at Dodson Farm. The day before the wedding a bridesmaid luncheon was hosted by the bride’s maternal aunt, cous in, and friend at The Grill. The afternoon of the wedding, an out of town brunch was thrown for the bridegroom and his groomsmen at Bulldog Burger.

Following a wedding trip the couple lives in Starkville.
