NATIONAL SUMMARY
A major winter storm will swing northward from the Southeast
tomorrow and begin tracking into the mid-Atlantic region.
Steady snowfall is expected to spread from the Tennessee
Valley into portions of Pennsylvania, while an icy mixture
will occur across the interior Southeast. Farther south,
rain and gusty thunderstorms will soak Southeastern coastal
states. Significant travel disruptions are anticipated along
the storm's path. Additionally, damaging winds will develop
along the East coast as the storm shifts northward.
Meanwhile, the majority of the Western states can expect
generally dry weather. Abundant sunshine will spread across
much of the Southwest, with partial sunshine across the
Northwest.
