NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain and mountain snow showers will continue across the
Northwest and the northern Rockies tomorrow as a storm
tracks eastward, though winds will settle across the
Northwest through the day. On the other side of the nation,
a little rain will fall across the eastern Great Lakes and
the interior Northeast. Snow can mix with rain at times,
mainly across the higher elevations of New York, New
Hampshire and Vermont. Farther south, a few showers can
occur across the Florida Peninsula. Elsewhere across the
country, a zone of high pressure will promote mainly dry
weather and plenty of sunshine, while mild conditions will
continue. Temperatures will trend 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit
above the historical average for portions of the Southwest.
