The Nation's Weather for Friday, April 1, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A few showers of rain and snow are expected in the eastern
Great Lakes and Northeast tomorrow. Any heavier snow showers
can quickly reduce visibility, but a warm ground should
limit any accumulation to less than an inch on grassy
surfaces. Thunderstorms will rumble through the Florida
Peninsula. Luckily, the threat of severe weather is low. A
spotty shower or two can dampen the southern and eastern
portions of South Dakota and north-central Nebraska. By the
afternoon, a passing shower can get into west-central
Minnesota. Much of the West is forecast to be dry, with the
exception of a bit of rain along the coast of Washington
with snow in the Cascades. A breezy day can be expected in
the Plains from North Dakota to Texas and in much of the
eastern Great Lakes, Northeast and mid-Atlantic.
