NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers and thunderstorms, some severe, will rumble across
portions of the Southeast, Ohio Valley and Midwest tomorrow.
Thunderstorms in Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois can
bring localized damaging wind gusts and heavy, flooding
downpours. Meanwhile, a storm will bring thundershowers,
rough surf and gusty winds to southern New Engand. An area
of high pressure centered over the eastern Rockies will
promote breezy, hot and primarily dry weather for the
Plains. A spotty afternoon thunderstorm can occur in the
high terrain of Arizona and New Mexico. In the Pacific
Northwest, rain along the coast will spread inland
throughout the day. Elsewhere, it will be mostly dry and
sunny with temperatures below the historical average along
the California coast and in the western Great Basin.
