NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms will stretch from western portions of New York
and Pennsylvania to the Gulf Coast tomorrow. Some of the
rain from west-central Ohio to western Kentucky can be heavy
enough to reduce visibility and cause ponding on streets and
highways. Morning snow showers will occur in central
Montana. Farther south, a mix of rain and snow is expected
in Wyoming. A few showers could dampen far northern North
Dakota and Minnesota as a storm pulls away and up into
Canada. Meanwhile, a new storm coming ashore in the
Northwest will spread rain into western Washington and
western Oregon. That system will spread farther inland over
the weekend and bring widespread rain and mountain snow as
far south as Central California. The coastal mid-Atlantic
will turn much cooler.
