The Nation's Weather for Thursday, April 11, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Severe weather will continue to be a major concern tomorrow,
with two areas of potentially dangerous thunderstorms
developing through the day. The northernmost zone may prove
to be the more active of the two, with hail, damaging winds
and tornadoes possible from the Tennessee/Virginia border to
northeastern Ohio. Farther south and east, a cold front can
produce storms with similar hazards from the Delmarva
Peninsula through north-central Florida. Much of the Great
Lakes region is expected to face steady rain, with more
spotty shower activity lingering from the Upper Midwest into
Louisiana. Areas from the Plains through nearly all of the
West are expected to remain largely dry overall, but a storm
will bring rain back to the Pacific Northwest.
