The Nation's Weather for Wednesday, March 2, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A fast-moving storm is expected to sweep across the Upper
Midwest and Great Lakes regions tomorrow, bringing snow,
rain, ice and gusty winds, impacting visibility and road
conditions as it moves eastward, eyeing the Northeast for
tomorrow night. Behind the storm in the northern Plains,
bitterly cold air and even some ice could shoot into the
region from Canada, and another storm is anticipated to
bring primarily rain to the Northwest, though some snow
could mix in at the highest elevations. The rest of the
nation should be largely dry except for some showers across
the Florida Peninsula, while the southern slice of the
nation remains pleasant from Texas to Georgia. The
midsection of the country will be warm for this time of year
from the Southwest to the Atlantic Coast.
