NATIONAL SUMMARY
With an upper low shifting eastward tomorrow, rounds of rain
and thunderstorms are expected in the mid-Atlantic and
Northeast. A couple of severe storms cannot be ruled out,
with strong wind gusts being the main threat. Rain will also
be beneficial in areas experiencing drought conditions.
Farther south, severe storms will be possible across a swath
of the Southeast, extending from Mississippi to the
Carolinas during the afternoon and evening hours. In
addition to strong winds, hail and perhaps a tornado will be
possible here. Dry and hot weather will take over in the
southern Plains, while isolated showers and storms will
linger across the Rockies and Great Basin.
