The Nation's Weather for Sunday, June 4, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Aside from a few showers and thunderstorms for much of
Florida, dry and cooler weather can be expected along the
East coast during the day tomorrow. Thunderstorms will be
more common farther west, especially in the southern High
Plains, where a severe storm or two cannot be ruled out.
Strong wind gusts, hail and flash flooding will all be
possible, though any rain will help ease the ongoing drought
in the region. Additional storms are likely farther north in
the Plains, as well as parts of the Mississippi Valley,
though should be spotty and less intense overall. A few
showers are expected across the Great Basin and northern
Rockies, while dry weather holds in place along the West
coast.
