The Nation's Weather for Sunday, March 5, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a fast-moving disturbance moves into the northern Plains
tomorrow, a swath of accumulating snow will spread from
Montana to western Minnesota. Most locations should have
light to moderate accumulations, though a narrow swath of
over 6 inches of snow is possible. Winds will also be gusty,
and will combine with snow to bring very low visibilities.
Along the West coast, additional rainfall near the coast is
expected from Oregon to Central California, with continued
snowfall in the Sierra and the Oregon Cascades. Elsewhere in
the country, in the wake of a major storm, much calmer
conditions are likely, with just a few showers and perhaps a
thunderstorm in the Florida Panhandle.
