NATIONAL SUMMARY
A swath of snow will stretch from Idaho to western Montana
southward to Nevada and Utah tomorrow. Accumulating snow
will cause slippery travel from Nebraska northeastward into
the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Rain will fall from
southeastern New England to Pennsylvania, New Jersey,
Delaware and Maryland. As the precipitation moves farther
north, an icy mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain is
expected. Thunderstorms may produce hail and isolated
damaging winds from Ohio and western Pennsylvania southward
to Alabama, Georgia and the western Carolinas. After several
atmospheric river events affected the state, an extended
stretch of dry weather will begin in Northern California. A
morning shower may dampen Southern California, after which a
dry stretch will also begin in that part of the state.
